Account & data deletion

Last updated August 20, 2026

Which apps have accounts

Bookmad: Track & Read Books (com.gurmehub.bookmad) needs an account: your library, notes and reading history live on our servers so they survive a device change.

Our games have either no account or an optional online account used only for matchmaking and rating. Apps without an account keep their data on your device.

How to delete your Bookmad account from the app

Open Bookmad and go to Profile → Settings, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account, then confirm in the dialog. Deletion happens immediately, cannot be undone, and signs you out on every device.

If you cannot open the app

Write to [email protected] from the email address on the account and say which app it is. We confirm the request within two working days and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account record, email address and name; every book, note and quote you saved; your reading history and statistics; your achievements; cover images you uploaded; and every sign-in session.

What may remain, and for how long

Anonymous aggregate counts that cannot be linked back to you may remain. Encrypted backups are rotated out within 30 days. Crash reports carry no account data and expire on their own schedule.

Deleting your data without deleting your account

If you want to keep your account but clear what is in it, open Bookmad, go to Profile → Settings and tap Reset DB (Books & Stats), then confirm. Every book, note and quote, your reading history and statistics and your achievements are deleted from the device and from our servers. This cannot be undone.

Your account itself stays: your email address, your name and your sign-in sessions are untouched. Cover images you uploaded earlier remain on our servers until the account is deleted — to have those removed as well, delete the account or use the request form below.

Your ad-free subscription is separate

Deleting your Bookmad account does not cancel an ad-free subscription: it is billed by Google Play and belongs to your Google Play account. Cancel it from Play Store → Subscriptions, otherwise it keeps renewing.

Deleting on-device data

For apps that store data locally, uninstalling the app removes everything. Export your data first if you want to keep it.
